We had a great meeting to start 2017!  We had a number of visiting Rotarians and guests.  Nina Paolo shared her Vocational Talk and we were amazed at the number of leadership positions that she held while living in San Jose!  President Melissa told of the planning meeting coming up on Saturday for the St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser. Katie shared the sign up sheet for the monthly recycling event coming up on Satuday January 21^st.  Jill Engledow was our speaker and talked about her two newest books – “The Story of Lahaina” and the “History of Sugar on Maui”.  She shared much information about Lahaina and showed a number of unique photos that she found for both of her new books.  She answered many questions about how she researched both books and had books for sale at the conclusion of her talk.  There were three lucky winners of the Drawings – Jim Fahnestock, Sharon Beach and Joanne Laird.
