Welcome Deborah Moore!
During a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset, Deborah Moore officially became a member of the club. Her sponsorship came from fellow member Heidi Dollinger. The induction ceremony was officiated by Al Weiland, Assistant Governor for the Coastal Maui Rotary Clubs.
 
Deborah Moore is a full-time resident of Maui, living at The Masters for the past three years. She and her husband moved from central Washington State where they have been farming for 45 years growing irrigated row crops and apples. Deborah served fifteen years as an elected official on a city council and a board of county commissioners, and she has served on sixteen local, state, and federal boards and commissioners. A career highlight was program director for an adult leadership program in Washington State.
Deborah believes in public service, and she is currently a member of the Maui County Cost of Government Commission. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, swimming, and traveling.
