Katy Shroder inducted as 35th member!
At a meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset Katy Shroder was inducted as the club’s newest member. She was inducted into the club by Assistant Governor Mariko Higashi and she was sponsored by member Sara Foley.
Katy Shroder is a Ph.D child psychologist who has worked her entire career in schools and private practice. She also has volunteered extensively, teaching conflict mediation, Safe Sitter, and parenting classes to thousands of participants. Most recently, she was on the steering committee for fundraisers for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. Katy was born and raised in the Midwest. She met her husband, Bob, at Miami University, and they have been married for 43 years. They have 3 adult children (Brian, Laura, & Matthew) and 2 grandchildren (Chase & Lilly). Katy & Bob purchased their home in Maui in 2019 and moved here permanently in 2021. She is looking forward to working in Maui and volunteering with Rotary.
