ROTARY ZONE 26 END POLIO NOW COORDINATOR TO SPEAK AT MEETING
At 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 19th Ernie Montagne from Oro Valley, Arizona will be the virtual speaker at a Zoom meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset. THIS PRESENTATION WILL BE MODERATED BY DISTRICT GOVERNOR ELECT NAOMI MASUNO and is open to all Rotary members in D5000. It is also open to any members of the public who wish to learn about the End Polio Now Initiative. Montange’s presentation will feature an update on the Initiative which will include the Current Status, Funding Needs for the Program and the Impact of COVID-19 on the program. It will also feature a countdown to the history of End Polio Now and how Rotarians can help. To quote Montagne: "Polio is only a plane ride away. There is no cure.
