Consultant with “Compassion & Choices Hawaii,” to speak at November 15 meeting
 
Hawk’s presentation is entitled “End-of-Life Options & the Our Care, Our Choice Act”.  She will share information on how to empower oneself to one’s own end-of-life journey and find out more about the Our Care, Our Choice Act and how to access it.   Hawk was raised on Oahu and is a 1985 graduate of Iolani School, Aubrey has served on the boards of the GIFT Foundation of Hawaii, Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii, and Hanahauoli School.  Since moving to the Big Island in 2017, she has become a certified volunteer instructor with the international organization Roots of Empathy; she serves on the Board of the Friends of the Volcano School of Arts & Sciences; she is president of the Volcano Community Association; and she is a member of the Volcano Rotary.
Aubrey’s professional background is in PR; she is the owner & president of Aubrey Hawk Public Relations. As a consultant and volunteer with Compassion & Choices Hawaii, Aubrey has been working to improve end-of-life options in the state for 10 years.
