Teardrop of Lahaina Sculpture features holiday adornments
The Teardrop of Lahaina Sculpture has received a festive makeover for the holiday season. Soakai Taufa, the artist, designer, and caretaker of the piece, has incorporated a “Train to Heaven” within the illuminated sculpture. Additionally, a ring of seasonal greenery and oversized jingle bells adorn the 15-foot sculpture. Soakai expressed that these new elements serve as a reminder that during this time of year, our cherished ones are journeying to heaven. The memories of those we've lost provide us with hope, peace, comfort, and inspiration. Soakai is a member of our club - we are so proud of his work on this project and the Memorial along the Lahaina bypass.
