Welcome Virendra Nath as our Honorary Member
During this spring season, Virendra Nath was graciously welcomed as an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset. Alongside his wife Nancy Makowski, Virendra co-founded HDEP International in 1983, a successful privately-owned company that they still manage today. HDEP International collaborates with title insurance underwriters and agents nationwide, boasting a workforce of around 600 individuals. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, both Virendra and Nancy honed their skills at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, where their paths initially crossed. Virendra's academic achievements include obtaining BS and MS degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. An advocate for higher education, Virendra actively participates in the scholarship selection process for the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset's Go for the Green Scholarships. This year, Virendra's generous contribution in memory of his late father, Dr. Vishwambhar Nath, played a significant role in funding several scholarships.
