Lahainaluna High School Interact Club is reactivated

The Interact Club at Lahainaluna High School has been revitalized thanks to the support and sponsorship of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset. Recently, a group of enthusiastic members gathered with school and Rotary advisors to select their officers and committee leaders for the 2024-25 academic year. The newly elected officers and chairs are currently on a mission to recruit new members and will host their next meeting on Tuesday, November 12, during lunch in the Library Conference Room.

The school’s advisors, Jonathan Conrad and Sabine Armstrong, are available to assist interested students. Those looking to join can reach out to Ms. Armstrong for a membership application at sabine.armstrong@k12.hi.us . During the meeting on November 12, Rotary Club advisors will guide students in brainstorming and prioritizing their community and school service initiatives.

Newly elected officers are:
President
Ayla Kurulgan (12)
Vice President
Brianna Kopu Kekona (11)
Secretary
Zabree Neizman (11)
Treasurer
Alexa Torres-Perez (12)
Additional students were also selected to serve as chairs of a variety of committees such as Community Service, School Service and Publicity/Social Media.
