ROTARY CLUB OF LAHAINA SUNSET PROVIDES $30K IN SAFEWAY GIFT CARDS
Using funds generated by the Rotary District 5000 Foundation Maui Fires Relief effort, the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset presented Safeway gift Cards valued at $30,000 to Maui Fire Survivors. Just in time for the holidays, 130 staff members who suffered losses due to the fires at Princess Nahi`enaena and Kamehameha III schools were presented with $100 Safeway gift cards. The identified staff members received their cards enclosed in a special note from Rotary D5000 District Governor, Mark Merriam. The remaining cards will be distributed to fire survivors who have been relocated to other hotels in Kahului and to vetted survivors at the Napili Noho Hub.
