OUR CLUB PROVIDES FIRE RELIEF FUNDS TO LOCAL CRAFTSMEN

Two Lahaina Craftsmen have utilized their Vocational Skills to provide recognition for those who perished in the Lahaina Fires.
Soakai Taufa is the craftsman behind the wooden cross memorials on the bypass. He crafted each cross, and set them into concrete along the bypass fence.  He is now utilizing his landscaping skills and is planting fruit trees between each cross. He is also making custom memorials for families who choose this way to honor their relatives who perished in the Lahaina Fires. Our club awarded Soakai with a $200 honorarium for his skills.

Jason Lucero is a graphic artist and owner of Mana Visual. His Vocational skills are being utilized to install weather-proof images of the deceased to personalize each of the memorial crosses. Our club awarded Jason with a $450 honorarium to recognize his Vocational skills to honor the deceased and give families a personalized, living memorial.
