50 gifts delivered to Ka Hale A Ke Ola Resource Center for Lahaina Fire Keiki
On the Friday before Christmas members and friends of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset delivered 50 gifts for the Fire Survivor keiki housed at Ka Hale A Ke Ola Resource Center in Wailuku.   Project Chair Past President Joanne Laird, worked with Misty Bannister, Children’s Services Coordinator, to secure the ages and gender of the 50 children from Infants through High School.  Gifts valued at $50 each were purchased and wrapped for each child using funds from the Rotary D5000 Foundation Maui Fires Relief efforts.

To quote Misty Bannister, Childrens’ Services Coordinator: “We are so grateful for the kind and very generous friends we have at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset.  They really went above and beyond to provide gifts for the Fire Survivor keiki at our Ka Hale A Ke Ola Resource Center.  I feel blessed with the gift of meeting these amazing people and connecting them with our precious keiki.  These gifts provided by the club have certainly blessed our youth and their families, and they most definitely have blessed us with such a beautiful friendship.  We are forever grateful.”
