RESTAURANT MANAGER WHO LOST KIMO’S TO THE LAHAINA FIRES TO SPEAK
On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, Jack Starr, former manager of Kimo’s Restaurant, will be the speaker at the meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset. Jack spent a long career with Kimo’s and will share information about this iconic Lahaina landmark and what has unfolded since the fires. Not only did Jack lose Kimo’s, but he and his wife Jennifer lost their family home of 18 years. Jack will share his story and his mission to support the community to help rebuild Lahaina.
The meeting will be held at the Aston Paki Maui Resort Ali`i meeting room. Social is 5:00 pm and the meeting begins at 5:30 pm. A light dinner will be served. To make reservations to attend the meeting please email Joanne Laird at: mamalrd01@gmail.com.
