Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset present Vocational Service Awards

On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset recognized the 2026 Vocational Service Award recipients. The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset annually presents Vocational Service Awards to an individual, a non-profit, and a business for exceptional service to the community or club. Awardees are chosen for their high ethical standards and integrity, exemplifying Rotary's “Service Above Self” philosophy and serving as models of ethical behavior.  

Individual Award – Nancy Eckman: Nancy was selected for her continued support of the club’s financial literacy courses at Lahainaluna High School and the Boys and Girls Club.

Business Award – Maui Kuia Estate Chocolate Factory: Selected for providing free event space for club fundraisers and special meetings, as well as in-kind donations for special events.

Non-Profit Organization Award – Maui United Way: Recognized for its financial support of Lahainaluna High School Interact Club activities.

 

The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset sponsors various community and vocational projects. Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday each month at the YMCA West Side Resource Center (old Tamura’s building, Emerald Plaza), 226 Kupuohi Street, Lahaina, 96761.
