Get to know our newest member!
During the Interclub Gathering held on August 26 Gina Biondi became the newest member of our Rotary club. Gina was sponsored Deborah Moore. The induction ceremony was officiated by District Governor Benson Medina during this 3-club gathering.
Gina is a full-time Maui resident living at the Masters in Ka’anapali. She also has a home in Richmond, California, which keeps her close to her children in Berkeley and San Francisco. Over the years, she has held many roles, including realtor, Santa Cruz County commission staff member, Scotts Valley School Board member, Scotts Valley council member and mayor, and lifelong volunteer. Her volunteer service has included leading Brownies and Girl Scouts, serving on school site councils, the Santa Cruz Cultural Council, the Truckee Donner Land Trust board, and other boards and councils connected to her city council work. She has also served three terms on the Masters Board of Directors, including three years as president. Gina enjoys reading, playing tennis, walking, attending theater and concerts, visiting with friends, and watching sunsets. She looks forward to taking part in the many activities of our Rotary club.
