Nov 13, 2026 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
We are planning a volunteer opportunity on Friday, Nov. 13th from 8-11 a.m. to weed and up-pot lots of trees, which are growing in a farm in Kula. The farm near Ocean Vodka is one of the largest “Grow Hubs” with 1,800 trees grown for TreeCovery. These trees will be planted in Lahaina's burned zones in the coming years, and Rotary is supporting this effort with $150,000 Global Grant funded by many Rotary Clubs in Hawaii, Japan and Nepal. The farm typically asks about 15 volunteers to come. Please contact Mariko Higashi for questions or to sign up |
